We are frequently asked questions about “what’s on my pay slip?” here we have tried to explain the deductions you may see on your pay slip.
We sometimes receive queries from officers who are looking to obtain benefit from one or more of our schemes that they do not subscribe to. Please use this page to check that you are actually contributing to the schemes that you need or want to subscribe to.
If it’s not on your pay slip – you are not in the scheme and are ineligible to any benefits it may offer.
When you stop being paid (long term sick, for example) you will need to consider provisions to cover the pensions contributions that will be unpaid whilst you are off and also your Federation Subs and any voluntary deductions that would normally come out of your salary such as: Group Accident Life (GAL), Benevolent Fund (Flint House). PMAS or Copperpot savings. To continue to remain eligible for Flint House you will need to send payment directly to Flint House once you go to no pay and your deductions stop. Please contact us directly for more information.
