Your Group Insurance Core Scheme is provided by Philip Williams & Co. The Scheme is a minimised version of the main scheme and does not include the medical cover. The cover provides benefits as detailed below.
It is open to all members of Police Staff and Serving Special Constables.
It is also open to all serving Police Officers* that cannot join the main scheme due to medical restrictions. Please contact us for more details.
It is the responsibility of the individual officer to ensure the correct deduction is taken by payroll. If the correct payment is not taken, cover MAY not be provided.
The Scheme provides a variety of insurance covers for a single premium. The cover provided has been specifically tailored to meet the needs of those working in a policing environment.

Please note that if you go to NO PAY (due to sickness or maternity for example) your voluntary deductions will also stop, so you need to pay Phillip Williams direct by cheque, BACS or D/D to continue cover. Failure to make the due payment will result in you being removed from the scheme and all associated cover. Please contact the TVP Federation Office for details.
