Cover may be available to any member under age 70 on a career break for a maximum period of 12 months from the start of the leave (restrictions apply on the reason for the break).
Members should apply for this cover by contacting enquiries@tv.polfed.org ensuring you give full details of the career break. This information will be passed to Philip Williams & Co who make a decision whether cover can commence.
Subscriptions to the insurance scheme must be paid direct the Philip Williams & Co, Monthly by Direct Debit.
If the member has not returned to work after the 12 months is completed all cover will cease.
If a member opted out of the scheme when they commenced their career break & wishes to re-join when they return to work the full late entrant process must be followed which would be subject to medical underwriting. Re-admittance to the scheme cannot be guaranteed.
