The TVP Group Insurance Scheme renews on the 1st of September each year. For the renewal, the Trustees of the scheme work hard with our brokers to negotiate the best possible deal for the trust and its members.
From 1st Sept 2025 there will be a small price increase for members. This has been unavoidable this year due to the market and adverse claims history. It should be noted there have been some significant increases to insurance prices over the past few years, this is particularly of note in Travel Insurance due to increased costs of holidays and medical costs. The Trustees have investigated the possibility of covering increases from our limited funds held in trust, however this is not sustainable going forward and would limit the availability of funds we currently use to assist members.
Although a small increase is required, we have been able to negotiate some additional add on features which we feel will enhance the scheme for you the members, these are shown in the letters on the right hand menu.
The majority of similar schemes around the country have all seen increases in premiums, but the Trustees are confident that the TVP scheme is still the best value and one of the cheapest around the country.
The trustees will continue to negotiate the best possible deals for the trust and its members and will continue to seek out new and improved products.
On the right hand menu you will see letters relating to your membership category which will give more detail on the changes for your type of cover. The new Scheme booklets are also attached showing cover available from 1st Sept 2025
