TVP Group Insurance Trust Holiday Home – St Ives Bay Beach Resort, Hayle.

Terms and Conditions

The Holiday Home is available for members of the TVP Group Insurance Trust (TVPGIS) and their families. The following terms must be agreed in order to stay in the property. Confirmation of acceptance of these terms is part of the holiday booking process on our website and when you complete your booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

1. You must be a member of the TVPGIS Trust at the time of your stay as well as at the time of booking. If you cease to be a member of the TVPGIS Trust prior to your stay then your booking will be cancelled and no refund will be given unless your allocated slot can be re-sold.
2. You are paying to stay in the Trust Holiday Home. The Trust are not selling any package holiday or selling on behalf of any agency or holiday park.
3. St Ives Bay Beach Resort is open all year round for guests to stay, however, certain facilities such as the Swimming Pool, Shop, Bars, Restaurant and some other activities are seasonal and only open April – Oct inclusive. Please ensure you check the Away Resorts website to ensure you know what will be open during your stay. TVPGIS Trust have no control over what the park chooses to open, close and when they do so, therefore cannot be held responsible for any activity or facility Away Resorts choose to close down. TVPGIS Trust have no liability in relation to the above.
4. Should you wish to cancel your booking, you will only be entitled to a refund if the trustees deem there are exceptional circumstances, or we are able to sell that holiday date to another member of the Trust
5. The Maximum occupancy is 8. There are 3 bedrooms, one Master Double En Suite, 2 x twin rooms, (Beds can be moved together to make a double) and a blow-up double airbed. The Maximum occupancy must not be exceeded.
6. Dogs are permitted, however you as the guest are responsible for rectifying any damage / stains caused by your pet. If you cannot do this it must be reported to Guest Services on the Holiday Park and to TVPGIS using the email tvpgisholidayhomes@outlook.com We reserve the right to charge to rectify any damage caused and/or associated cleaning costs. Please ensure you take you own towels and blankets for dogs use. Dogs are not permitted on the beds.
7. Dogs are not to left alone in the accommodation under any circumstances. Dogs must also be kept on leads at all times whilst on the holiday park.
8. All guests must view and comply with the rules of St Ives Bay Beach Resort and Away Resorts. Details can be found at the Holiday Park, on their website and in the guest information folder at the property. Failure to comply with these rules may result in Away Resorts asking you to leave the Holiday Park.
9. Smoking or the lighting of candles is not permitted within the property, nor can guests use BBQ’s. No ashtrays are provided so guests must dispose of any cigarette ends if they smoke outside the property.
10. Check in is 1600 and the key should be collected from Guest Services. Check out is 1000. Please ensure you leave the property in the same condition as on your arrival.
11. You agree that TVPGIS can pass on your contact details to Away Resorts, this is solely to enable them to contact you about your holiday and also incase they need to contact in an emergency. Your details will not be used for any marketing purpose.
12. Towels and bedding are provided, however you will have to provide your own towels for the hot Tub, swimming, Beach etc. The Home has smart TV’s in the Lounge and bedrooms and has its own Wifi within the property. Please remember to log out of any accounts on the TV’s prior to leaving.
13. All furnishings and equipment at the property are the property of TVPGIS. Please report any breakages or damage to tvpgisholidayhomes@outlook.com and to Guest Services on the park. If any unreported damage is found following your stay and reported to the Trustees, you will be charged for any replacement or repair. We will take action against those who commit instances of wilful damage or theft.

With the above in mind, please read through the Guest information Folder and ensure you check the inventory within the property and report any missing items to the above email address and guest services. If a guest discovers an item is missing, we will go to the previous guest who will need to provide sufficient evidence to the trustees that the items were there during their stay otherwise that guest will be billed for the missing items.

14. You will require your own Holiday Insurance for your stay to cover you and your guests.
15. For assistance, please contact Guest Services in the first instance. They have 24 hour cover on the Park, through guest services and Security. Contact details are within the property and will be given on arrival.
16. There is one allocated parking space, which is labelled with a number “8” on the tarmac. If this space is occupied, please inform guest services who will ensure the vehicle is moved.
17. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the property immediately should you breach the rules, with no recourse to a refund.
18. You will be contacted approx. 1 month prior to your stay by Away Resorts to confirm your stay and inform you of the check in information and process. Please ensure you confirm to Away Resorts at this point how many guests are staying so they can ensure you have the correct bedding and towels.
