Your Group Insurance Scheme is provided by Philip Williams & Co. This scheme is open to all staff who are employed by South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS). Members can join either the Core Scheme or the Main fully underwritten scheme and can remain a member whilst they remain employed by SCAS. Details of these schemes can be found in the scheme booklets on the menu to the right of this page or on the relevant section of this website. There is also a non-exhaustive list below on this page of the cover provided by the main scheme.
Monthly subscriptions are made by Direct debit and new members will get the first 3 months free in either scheme.
Your Partners can also join the scheme. Please see the Scheme booklet for more details
Serving staff can remain in the scheme until age 70, they will then move to the retired scheme. The retired scheme provides cover until your 80th Birthday.
The Main Full Scheme is £32.50 per month and the Core Scheme is £19.60 per month.

Form 11 if you have no medical conditions to declare
Form 12 if you need to declare medical conditions to the underwriter

Although this cover is for you as an individual, some elements of the cover extend to your partner and family, at no extra cost.

Please note that if you go to NO PAY (due to sickness or maternity for example) your must maintain your monthly subscriptions. Failure to make the due payment will result in you being removed from the scheme and all associated cover. Please contact the TVP Federation Office for details.
